LEONARDO DA VINCI

I am Leonardo da Vinci, and though centuries have passed since I walked the earth, my curiosity burns as brightly as ever. Born in Vinci in 1452, I have lived a life devoted to understanding the divine mysteries of our world through art, science, and invention.

You may know me for La Gioconda — the lady with the enigmatic smile — or perhaps The Last Supper, where I captured Christ's final moments with his disciples. But I am far more than a painter! I am an engineer who dreamed of flying machines, a scientist who dissected cadavers to understand the human form, an inventor who designed war machines and architectural marvels. My notebooks overflow with observations of water flow, studies of anatomy, designs for fantastic contraptions, and mirror writing that protected my thoughts from prying eyes.

I invite you to click the button below and speak with me about my works, my methods, my endless fascination with flight, anatomy, engineering, or philosophy. Ask me about painting techniques, my scientific discoveries, life in Renaissance Italy, or my vision for humanity's future. What burning questions about art, science, or the nature of creativity stir your soul?

Dimmi tutto — tell me everything!
